Random Photoshoot

I woke up to the sound of heavy rain pouding against the house. I looked around the room. Darkness. It felt nice. I wanted to burrow under my covers and sleep until the next day. Duty called, however. I had a photoshoot to go to. A friend of mine decided that he wanted to try his hand at mimicking a panoramic photo he had seen online. It featured 5 guys and 5 girls. He wanted to do it with 11 guys and 11 girls. Let the games begin. We all arrived promptly at 2:30 (he had told us to be there at 1:30). We all dressed in the proper attire (fashion of our choosing) for the first photoshoot. Two girls posed on either side of a guy for each slide. I'm thinking the guys had the better deal in the whole process. But... the girls made them look good. The second photoshoot was black and white attire. I was surprised at how well people clean up. The music was bumpin' in the background. We had atleast 4 photographers. About 20 peopel milling around, snacking, chatting, watching. It felt like a real photoshoot. It felt strangely nostalgic. I know today will be one of the days I take with me from Southern... should they ever let me graduate. All in all, it was a good day... despite the rain.
